Meet Ellen, a sophomore who's absolutely living her best life studying acting at Boston University! She's diving headfirst into everything BU and Boston has to offer. From crushing it in the theatre performance track to harmonizing with The Bostones, BU's beloved a cappella group. This summer took her on an epic adventure to Oxford, England for the British American Drama Academy's Midsummer Program, where she brought Peter Quince to life in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Ellen's been theatre-obsessed since discovering her calling in sixth grade, and she hasn't looked back since. She's brought some seriously iconic characters to the stage: the delightfully boy-crazy Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, the pink-loving powerhouse Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, the free-spirited Sophie in Mamma Mia!, and the book-loving Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
When she's not belting out show tunes, you'll find Ellen composing her own music, strumming guitar, or exploring everything from jazz to classical. And yes, she's slightly (okay, completely) obsessed with Pride and Prejudice. Ask her about Jane Austen at your own risk! When she needs a break from the arts world, Ellen loves jet-setting with her family, whipping up culinary creations in the kitchen, and scaling rock walls because apparently she likes her hobbies with a side of adrenaline.
